P.E.E.R    Investigations    

Mummasburg Road, PA February 07, 2009 P.E.E.R. was asked to come in and try to find out who still hangs out at this 1800s farmhouse that is northwest of Gettysburg and past the Peace Light. It was not a large house but the energy there certainly was large enough for us to notice it. We came in contact with at least three different spirits that evening and one of them was very insightful and helpful. I’ll share some of that information in the "Video Recordings and EVPs" section of this report. The above photo is one looking down the staircase from the second floor hall. This is actually a still from a video camcorder using Night Shot vision. This clip was taken after all vigils had begun. All investigators were in their assigned areas and nobody was in this hallway and staircase area. In fact, the door to the room on the second floor where there was a vigil in progress was closed.

Investigation Details P.E.E.R. approached this investigation with a minimal crew and even then we felt crowded in the small farmhouse. We began our investigation with our psychic and myself (Steve McNaughton) being given a walk through of the house before other crew members wandered beyond the living room. We were also provided a bit of history concerning the property as well as some of the experiences of the current tenant. Once our tour and walk-through was complete, we met with the rest of the PEER crew to brief them before setting up the equipment and breaking out into vigil teams. Several photos captured orbs and interestingly enough they were only in a few areas of the house.               Click the images for a larger view. These two photos are of a sort that we do not see very often inside a house during our investigations. We were in the basement of the house during the first of our vigil sets and as usual, we were lights out. It appears that I just might have captured an Elemental hanging around with us. These two photos were taken within seconds of each other. These objects were captured by no other camera, person or place during this investigation.        During the second vigil session, the team that I was with initially in the basement moved out to the summer kitchen. During this vigil I did come up with two photos where I captured an orb.

Video Recordings and EVPs Throughout the evening, we had three video cameras recording for two sessions. One camera was recording in the second floor room where our resident clairvoyant was sitting in on the vigil while a second camera was set to record the first floor vigil. The third camcorder was setup in the basement. During this time period, the camera on the first floor mysteriously stopped recording as soon as it started. Multiple crew members verified that this camera was recording prior to the beginning of this vigil and at least one investigator heard noises around the camera and saw a bright orb-like light flash on the floor by the camcorder. We have not been able to determine a natural or mechanical reason for this failure. The basement camcorder only picked up a wobble as if it were bumped even though no crew member was close to the camera at that time. The second floor camcorder did capture some audio phenomenon that was actually heard by all the investigators and an orb was captured moving around several time near investigator and our resident clairvoyant. You should be able to hear rustling and footsteps which the investigators describe as someone coming up the stairs and then you will hear a knock by the door to their room. At this time their door was open so they had clear vision to the hallway and stairs. Once they determined that no one was there, they sat back down discussing the event. It is during this time that they did NOT hear the man’s voice say “hello.” Here is the link to that clip. For the second vigil session, we changed up the teams and moved the crew and equipment. The camcorder that was used in the second floor room was moved to the top of the stairs where it caught a very fast moving orb flash by. A still from this clip is the photo at the top of this page. Due it its brightness and intensity, I do not believe this was the normal type orb that we were used to witnessing. Could this be the same Elemental that was captured on camera in the basement? Here is the link to that 'flashing' clip. We also captured a few other video clips of some interesting orb activity during the first vigil with our resident clairvoyant on the second floor. This next clip seems to be an acknowledgement of a spirit just after our resident clairvoyant announces that a man just said "this is his house." Watch the far right side of the screen. Ignore the camera display light moving around on the left side of the screen. Here is the link to that clip. For this last clip, watch the right side of the screen while this orb seems to materialize out of thin air. Often, we have seen orb meander or flash across the screen but until now, we've never seen one actually begin to evolve and take shape and become more solid and bright. Again ignore the camera light on the left side of the screen. Here is the link to that 'evolving orb' clip. No other video evidence was discovered however our resident clairvoyant did have an incredible conversation with a spirit who still resides at this property. The transcription is complete and nothing was added or left out. Folks, this is what it is all about. I am extremely thankful that this spirit was able to communicate with our resident clairvoyant and that Tina was witness to this conversation. Tina who just happen to be my wife is quite the skeptic and was convinced that this was a legitimate communication. Here is the transcript which took place over several minutes while sitting in the dining room. Last hour vigil of our resident clairvoyant, Tina McNaughton, Brandy Dockey and Dee. Last few minutes of our resident clairvoyant channeling a spirit of who is believed to be Elizabeth Thompson. Beginning time of audio is 53:35 Resident Clairvoyant - Do you understand that you are no longer part of this? Tina- Her energy is here though. Resident Clairvoyant - Are you here by yourself? Spirit- Just me and the little fellow. Jonas Resident Clairvoyant - (not discerned) … you’re staying here for any reason, do you not want to go with your family? Spirit- They’re gone. I’m quite comfortable here. Resident Clairvoyant - I can tell you if you’d like to go back with your family and perhaps little Jonas would too, there’s a white light you should be able to see. You need to go to that white light and it will take you home to God and to your loved ones. Tina- Does she know this? Resident Clairvoyant - I’m telling her that. Tina- I know. Does she know this? She may know that. Resident Clairvoyant - I’m not sure if she does. She did, yeah, the family’s been here and wanted to bring her home but she does not want to go yet. Tina- I think that’s why some of them just stay. Resident Clairvoyant - Yeah, she’s comfortable here. Tina- She’ll go eventually. Spirit- (not discerned) … Honey, if we leave here, the town will never be the same. Tina- That’s why. Spirit- So please don’t be so quick to send us away. Resident Clairvoyant - This woman is very wise and she knows what’s going on. Spirit- There are some here who are keeping the sacredness of this town in place. They are doing our work and we are overseeing. Those of us, who have chosen to stay, have been helping in very many ways in (not discerned) … They’re very proud of their efforts. If they were to leave, there would be no connection (not discerned) … and everything would change. You must understand why some of us stay. There is more that we can do from this side than any of the living. Tina- Have you ever thought of that? Resident Clairvoyant - No I didn’t. She’s actually giving me some different ideas. Spirit- In time there will be changes to come but now is not the time. In each field you go to that has been sacred, you will find many have stayed behind. Consider us guardians. The lady who has this house respects what has happened here, which is why I am comfortable here. One day you will understand how very important the unseen world. Thank you for offering to help. We thank you for offering to help however now you understand why some of us stay. Please remember to keep God first. Tell others the same. You must have faith in him. Go now in peace.
